![]() "BIOMA URBANO" - curated by Flavio Misciattelli 15-12- 2004 Rome, ANTONVENETA ABN AMRO BANK A complex of community of animals and vegetables stabilized in the urban city, distress hierarchies modifying biorhythms of the territorial organism. This intense phenomenon is analyzed by five artists, that study the evolution of individuals and species, within the territory. The paintings of Marco Tamburro give a vision of motion masses that seem caged by city geometries, the same masses are introjected on canvas of Seboo Migone, that distorts faces exchanging landscape and character. Maurizio Savini proposes some works, that like slabs, inquire the relationship between human structure and thought. Nicolaj Pennestri paints a world where nature succumbs, adapting it self to human needs or escaping Finally, Pietro Ruffo studies the collision between tectonic plates, the generating of biological-morphologic events and the relationship between catastrophe and parasite. All five even though with various inspirations, interpret this world, with great power and efficacy. | |
