Giovanni di Carpegna Falconieri is born in Rome the 19 of December 1966 and he started to paint in the Carpegna’s village located in Montefeltro where in his childhood he used to pass most of his summers.

He used to observe the painters in the countryside and thanks to them he began to feel a passion for the painting “ en plein air” that he still does.

He loves to learn new ways of painting, sculpture and photography.

From 1997 and on he started to practice engravings and prints.

He established a Carpegna artist’s association that gets together those painters and since 1998 the association organizes events for painters, sculptors, photographers and creators in Carpegna princes palace.
