Italian There are many years that I follow, with extreme interest, Bruno Ceccobelli creative course In 1986 I invited him to participate to the Art and Alchemy exhibition, that was curetted by myself for the biennial of Venice, and where he exhibited the important work La Melanconia (1984) - a large tempera and sulfur on paper (high 2 meters x 134 cm). My interest was motivated from three main reasons. Ceccobelli always has been faithful only and exclusively to his interior world - without taking into consideration any fashion of the moment. He is known, and he expresses his interior model in a personal way, a dispute abstraction-figuration that he matches in an interesting manner; and finally, he has not feared to change style, when he felt the necessity, and that also confused the market because of his cannibalistic consumism denunciation.....
