Piero Pizzi Cannella "Fontana Ferma"

The Pastificio Cerere Foundation is glad to introduce a site specific project in its historical courtyard.

Pizzi Cannella, well- known artist belonged to "Gruppo di San Lorenzo" or "Scuola Romana di San Lorenzo"
realizes for this event an installation entitled Fontana Ferma.

The final project of the work, a drawing on canvas composed by a groups of fountains like the ones in the courtyard,
will be exposed inside the exhibition space of the Foundation.
The artist presents a plastic reinforced by incorporated fiberglass group of fountains which will be realized in bronze.
The cone- shaped element provokes a strong impact on the surrounding area. The work of Pizzi Cannella gains a symbolic connotation
typical of his own artistic universe. Considering art a matter of life and death he narrates figures realizing "what resists to any possible subtraction.
