 "OMBRE CORTE" - RODOLFO FIORENZA - curated by Francesco Stocchi (20 April - 10 May 2006) The Pastificio Cerere will present on Thursday 20 of April 2006 within the V edition of the international Festival of Rome “Fotografia” the solo exibithion of Rodolfo Fiorenza cureted by Francesco Stocchi. Twenty unseen photography taken from various series untitled “Ombre Corte” or “centometridicieloeterra”, will be exhibited in the halls of the Pastificio Cerere foundation. Their names, dates of creation, techniques and size will distinguish the works and those works express a solid linguistic poesy of the artist that is autonomous of anything that is tangible. From more than thirty years, Rodolfo Fiorenza follows beside his photography career his personal creative side and he is now sensitive to a fusion of pictorial arts and photography. This unseen alchemy is the result of the stratification of languages (the tools of photography, brushes sponges detector, ect.. used improprial with the pictorial techniques) resulting in the emotive energy that allows them to co-exist. As announced in the theme of the 2006 edition of the festival entitled “ twenty century and the necessity of photography”, the exhibition intends to present the various aspects of Rodolfo Fiorenza lengthy and silent research nourished in by an intimate and inescapable expressive need that today is freely made manifest.  | |
