Italian Ottavio Celestino “11 Storie. Pastificio Cerere andata e ritorno” The Pastificio Cerere Foundation is glad to present, inside it’s memorable courtyard, photographs of Ottavio Celestino in occasion of his new publishing project named: “11 storie- Palazzo Cerere andata e ritorno”. This project is dedicated to eleven artists, who are also residents of Palazzo Cerere. These original photos, being in production almost a year, will be exposed in occasion of the sixth edition of the Festival of Photography of Rome. The project of Ottavio Celestino is focused on a part of community of artists in “Via degli Ausoni”. Number eleven is chosen on purpose because it creates a particular dialectic between “Scuola di San Lorenzo” ( The School of San Lorenzo), represented by Giuseppe Gallo, Nunzio, Pizzi Cannella, Marco Tirelli, Bruno Ceccobelli and Gianni Dessì, and other five artists, also belonging to an artistic life of “Via degli Ausoni”. The substantial professional experience of Ottavio Celestino emerges thanks to a particular technique and courageous frames, made on B&W films of medium and large size. The immortality of the protagonists of these stories, scattered all over the Europe, from Stuttgart to Belgrade, from Paris to Beslan, from Sardinia to Perugia, from Florence to Rome, is achieved thanks to a fine art printing with a lith technique. Published by Carlo Cambi, the editor, this project represents a kind of “photographic container”, extremely original because every artists dedicates to this work a personal contribution, as stories, notes, places, sketches, or simple thoughts.
